Inclusivity at Thompson Church
Thompson is a church comprised of people from diverse backgrounds and varied experiences, drawn together by the love of Jesus . We are an open and affirming faith community at every level of service and leadership. Because we believe that all people are created in the image of God, we see everyone having sacred worth. God’s love excludes no one. We find the basis for these beliefs in the Christian scriptures, and we observe this type of radical acceptance and inclusion lived out fully in the life of Jesus of Nazareth.

The Thompson Inclusivity Team focuses on five categories:
We understand that at no point will we arrive at a place where we fully understand the varied experiences of all of God's people. Instead, we seek to learn and grow together about how to live into the teaching of Jesus, that they may all be one (John 17:21).

New Hope Pride Parade
MLK Day of Service
Thompson Church marches in the New Hope Pride Parade each May. Come join the fun and show our community that we are a church for EVERYONE.
Each year on MLK Monday we take action to care for those who are underserved, both in our community and around the world and as we choose to grow, learn and listen to how to be a more unified people.
